Building a modern home in Denver

img_2354.jpg

Check out this cool blog. Denver-Modern (hey, great name) documents the construction of a modern home being built here in Denver.  I wish I would have found this sooner as they are obviously well on their way towards finishing it. In fact, their existing home is for sale.

found – Arapahoe Acres virtual tour

Google has given modern homes fans a neat little gift. Google Street View. Until recently this is usually only available on busy streets in select cities. However, many of Denver’s local streets have now been mapped, including Arapahoe Acres.

Street view allows you to take a walking tour of the neighborhood. You can do it in three steps.

  1. Click on the map below.
  2. Click on the Street View button.
  3. Click on the map in the location you want to see.

That’s it!

found – Lucia De Giovanni

Lucia De Giovanni responded to my Dwell Connect offer and I’m so happy that she did.

Lucia is a very talented photographer that features her work at recordingbeauty.com. I wish I had half her talent. The galleries on her page are simply amazing.

Lucia has an eye for urban modernism, minimalism, and capturing the perfect, fleeting, overlooked images that many of us are too distracted, too inattentive, too busy to notice”.
