I just saw this on the Design Within Reach newsletter. Their Boulder store is hosting an event featuring eco-friendly furniture designs. From the DWR site:

CU Boulder and Denver Architecture and Planning students have set a new standard with their hands-on approach and fearless vision. As part of their coursework, students were asked to design and fabricate eco-friendly modern furniture with an emphasis on embodied energy, lifecycle, materials and minimal waste. No short order. The results of this challenge will be on display at the DWR Boulder Studio, providing a platform for which to recognize this talented pool of future designers. Students will be on hand to share what is sure to be a compelling collection of concepts and executions. We hope you’ll join us for this inspiring, one-night-only event. Their work will be on display in the Studio until Monday, December 17
