Denver Modern Homes

Of all the neighborhoods in Denver that feature modern architecture, the houses up on Lookout Mountain have to be the hardest for me to photograph. The biggest problem is that they’re often hard to see from the road, and I’m not about to trespass just to get a picture of somebody’s house.

I took about a hundred pictures on the afternoon I spent on Lookout. From that only a ten were decent enough to publish here. At first, I was just going to skip it, but I figure these pictures are more than eye candy to some. Hopefully it could help someone get a feel for what sort of modern homes can found up on the hill.

Michael Maxwell of ReMax 100 inc has a great home listed on Lookout Mountain. It features some great Mid-Century Modern lines with city light views from the deck.

I saw this home while driving through the neighborhood. The pictures really don’t show off this homes modern lines, but trust me, they’re there.

Paradise hills is a great little development on Lookout Mountain with plenty of mid-century modern homes, the peace and quiet of the mountains, and views to die for. This particular home is listed by Kelly Hildreth of Coldwell Banker. There’s a virtual tour on her website, ColoradoHomes.com
