Bring your love of any type of art you enjoy doing to the top of your ”coffee table”. Place paint brushes in a vase or interesting cup, along with books about your fav artists. Or site your needlepoint wool in a bowl or tray, or include a book about the subject. Don´t forget about the lower shelf of your "coffee table". If using three stacks of decor on the lower shelf change it up and use two stacks of decor above. A tray turns an ottoman into a coffee table. Fill it with fun trinkets of different heights also shapes. Use two trays for a large ottoman.

Storage chests with cushions can be used as a seat to a play table as well as conceal a mountain of toys. A wall unit with drawers can pull double duty as a dresser and desk. Shelving is super convenient for toy organization as it doesn’t take up a lot of space and can be placed above dressers, desks, even above the door for hardly used items. Similarly, placing a bookshelf at the foot of the bed doesn’t take up valuable wall space and may even give you another surface near the bed for a lamp or nighttime book.

The shiny gold grout in the photo above demonstrates how well metallic shades work in a bathroom. This style stands out when matching the grout to bathroom fixtures. Metallic grout doesn’t have the colorful intensity of the other neon shades above, so it needs to be paired with shades that won’t compete for visual attention.
