The answer to this inquiry can help you decide the type of storage your unit should offer (drawers, shelves, closed compartments, etc). You should also decide whether or not you need display space for things like artwork, books, photos or games.

If you already have a vital focal point in your living space, perhaps a fireplace with chimney breast that extends into the floor area, then setting a television to one side of it can often make the room seem a little out of kilter. Layer your mounted TV on dual textures or shades. You'll double your space´s interest without having to hang one single picture. How do you reconcile possessing a mounted TV and making the ugly black box disappear altogether? You paint the wall behind it black. Suddenly your TV blends in also you notice everything around it instead of the box itself.

Another good idea is to stick to the basics as well as to use two contrasting colors that accompaniment each other in a natural plus elegant way. Blue with yellow seems to be one such example. But don´t only use these two shades. You can also experiment with some green together with maybe even some red or orange. Just make sure the rest are only accent colors.

Another idea is to use a bright shade of yellow in combination with other neon shades such as pink or blue or orange. This way no color would stand out singly. Instead they´ll all be eye-catching as a whole.
